Whitevale Golf Club

Hole 3

You can play this entire beautiful, short par four without feeling comfortable on any shot. The dogleg left over a large drop requires a precise tee shot to find the fairway. The extremely tricky green is as difficult to hold as it is to putt. It is also guarded by trouble on either side.

The McBroom redesign has increased the risk/reward on this hole. The enlarged and relocated bunker on the side of the hill has been extended to the right and is now in play for most tee shots. All of the tees were shifted to the right to open up more of the landing area. The bunkers at the green have been redesigned and sculpting has been added in front of the green. The cart path now goes around the left side of the green.
