Hole 8

The blind landing area past the rise in the fairway is your best line on this beautiful but difficult par four. A tee shot that fades with the contour of the fairway is the optimal shot here and the uphill approach to the green is a tricky one.

The McBroom redesign rebuilt all of the tees and shifted them to the left. For ladies, this former par 5 is now a challenging par 4. The dogleg is now protected by bunkers in place of the trees that used to stand on the hillside. But don't be too aggressive in cutting the corner because the fescue line has moved closer to the fairway. The greenside bunkers have been completely rebuilt.
