Microsoft Email Issues

It has come to our attention that some members not been receiving email communications from our ForeTees system. We have investigated the issue and have been in contact with the ForeTees support team. They have informed us that the problem is primarily affecting members who use Microsoft email services (including Hotmail, MSN, and Outlook addresses). It appears that Microsoft's servers are currently identifying ForeTees emails as spam and consequently blocking them.

Please be assured that the ForeTees development team is aware of this and is actively working on a solution to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we kindly ask that you check your spam or junk mail folders for any missing emails from ForeTees. If you find any, please mark them as "Not Spam" to help your email provider recognize them as legitimate.

We appreciate your patience and will provide another update as soon as we have more information.

A Note from the Clubhouse

Thank you so much to all the members who joined us for Father’s Day! It was a beautiful day and the perfect evening to be out on the patio. It was great to see so many dads enjoying the Dino ribs and steaks—we loved being part of your celebration.

I’m also excited to share that our weekly features are back! Starting this week, you can look forward to one appetizer and two entrée specials available Monday through Thursday.

Please note that we won’t be serving our usual Fish & Chips this Friday, as we’re firing up the grill for a special BBQ in celebration of the Longest Day of Golf. We’ll also have live music to make it a fun night for everyone.

As always, our Saturday BBQ continues this week from 12:00pm - 4:00pm, and we’ll wrap up the week with our ever-popular Prime Rib Dinner on Sunday.

Finally, save the date for the 2025 edition of Living the Life, which will be held July 18th! Details to follow.

We hope to see you at the club soon!

Keep your Hands on the Wheel

Sometimes when someone’s swing is too long, it’s not the result of the body overturning or the arms overswinging, but due to overactive wrists. Certainly we want a healthy wrist cock on the backswing, but when you hinge them so much your hands start separating from the grip then you’ve gone too far. The more your hands let go, the worse your shots will likely be. The lead wrist – left wrist for righties – is the usual culprit. For the player swinging the club, it’s a very difficult thing to detect. To determine if this might be an issue with you, take a slow practice backswing and stop right at the point where you feel that to hinge any further you’re hands would have to separate from the grip. This is the tipping point, the end of your backswing. Now trying hitting some shots making sure you don’t cross that line.
