What's in a Name?

Most of us bookmark the names of websites that we visit frequently. If you are still using a bookmark that was created over a year ago for our website, chances are it says "members.whitevalegolfclub.com" and this is about to change. That name went away last year, but as a convenience we've been automatically forwarding those requests to "whitevalegolfclub.com". Starting on August 22nd, that will no longer happen, so please update your bookmarks to "whitevalegolfclub.com" before then.

• As the extreme drought continues we have had to start taking measures to conserve water
• Irrigation of the rough has now stopped and we have reduced irrigation of the fairways in order to ensure we have water available for tees and greens
• If things continue to get worse, fairways will be the next area to be shut off, followed by the tees
• Under these conditions, you will see an increase in hand watering practices by staff in order to use our water more efficiently

• Bunkers on holes 3, 5, and 7 will be open for play Friday August 15
• A friendly reminder that the new sand will be soft and fluffy but will firm up over time
• Please remember to enter and exit the bunkers in the flats, avoiding any steep faces
• Don't forget to use the rakes provided and rake your footprints, placing the rake neatly beside the bunkers edge once completed
