1.12 Medical Carts
The Club’s medical cart program exists under the following guidelines:
- The Club will only extend medical cart privileges to those golfers who MUST have a cart to play the game. Once on the medical list, a member must take a cart each time they play or the Club will rescind his/her medical cart status.
- The member must provide a doctor's letter annually which clearly states that the member cannot play without a cart.
- A medical cart member must share a medical cart if two medical cart members are playing in the same group.
- On normal (dry) days, medical cart members may share carts as per the usual practice. Medical carts will carry a flag at all times.
Should any member lose his/her medical cart privileges, this action does not disqualify the member from using carts; it simply removes him/her from the medical cart list.
Medical Cart Rules
- Please keep cart a minimum of 15 feet away from all greens (that's about the length of two power carts)
- 3rd hole - carts must remain on the path around the green.
- 6th hole - you can drive closer to the green from the back left area - do not try to drive up the hill at the front or right side of the green
- 8th hole - please park cart on the path. The turf is flat from the path to the green. Do not drive the cart on this turf as this area is small and will cause extensive damage over time.
- 8th hole - for your safety, please do not drive straight up to the front of the green or down the slope on the right side.
- Par 3's - if you must enter the fairway, please use a 90-degree rule if possible. On #14, if your ball is short of the green, you may drive down the fairway and park your cart on the right side of the green.
- Any area with fescue (naturalized area) is off limits to all carts.
- 10th hole - the only exit from the fairway is on the left side, using the cart path. Carts MUST remain on the path and cannot use the right side of the fairway to exit.
- One of the most important things any member can do to prevent damage on the course is to NEVER DRIVE THROUGH ANY STANDING WATER!
