1.5 Members' Guests
Guest starting times are booked using the Whitevale ForeTees system, in the same manner as those for members. ForeTees will only offer starting times that are consistent with the guest booking restrictions that are in effect.
Members may only introduce one guest on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and that guest may not play prior to 11:00 am. Members may introduce up to three guests on Saturdays, after 2:00 pm, 48 hours in advance. Otherwise, a member may introduce up to three guests a day.
Members wishing to introduce more than three guests in a day must obtain approval from the General Manager at least 24 hours in advance. The General Manager has the discretion to book a member-organized group of up to 16 golfers; a larger group requires approval of the Board of Directors.
No guest may be introduced more than six times in any one season, more than four times during the season on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, or more than three times in the same month.
A current Whitevale Member may not be introduced as a guest if their playing category restricts them from playing at that time, such as a “C” member playing on Saturday morning.
A senior member may introduce a guest whose residence is more than 100 kilometers from the club to the privileges of the Club, for a period of one week in any season. Another member may not introduce such a guest for additional play.
Guests must play with the sponsoring member, unless the member has requested more than three guests in a day.
The names of all guests must be provided to the Pro Shop, and entered on to the tee sheet, before they may tee off.
Guests are required to follow the Whitevale dress code, and it is the sponsoring member’s responsibility to inform the guest of the dress code.
Guests wishing to pay for green fees, cart rentals, bar or food purchases must use a credit or debit card.
Members are responsible for their guest’s behaviour at all times while on the Club’s property.
