1.6 Power Carts

Members are required to sign for powered golf carts in the Pro Shop prior to teeing off. If a member requires a power cart on the 10th tee for the back nine, they are to fill in the chit that is inside the power cart key envelope, sign it and place it in the mailbox.

Only those members and guests over the age of 16 are permitted to rent a power cart.

Both the operator and passenger use powered golf carts at their own risk. The Club will not be responsible for any damage or injury caused by the operation of powered golf carts. Members are asked to exercise common sense in the use of these carts for their own protection, the protection of others, and preservation of the course.

Only those powered golf carts that are provided by the Pro Shop are permitted on the golf course. Member-owned power caddies that only carry golf bags and clubs are permitted.

Powered carts must follow cart directional signs placed every morning by the greens crew.

Only two power carts per group are permitted. Members may not use a separate cart if they can share with another member. If they choose to use an extra cart, full cart rate will be charged to the member’s account.

Priority to reserve powered carts will be given to members with physical disabilities that necessitate their use.

No more than two persons are allowed to ride on a powered golf cart at any time. A breach of this rule would invalidate maintenance insurance agreements and any members responsible may be denied further use of these carts.

Members must refrain from driving power carts in naturalized areas, such as the left side of the 17th hole or the left corner of the 11th hole.

The Greens Superintendent may prohibit the use of power carts on any given day.

Repeated breaches of policy or posted cart directional signs on the golf course will be reported to the Golf Committee.
