3.1 Member Donations
Benches
If a member wishes to make a donation for a portable bench they can select from locations identified by the club management. A plaque will be placed on the bench and the bench and plaque will maintained for a period of 5 years after which time the plaque may be removed and the member can take possession of the bench. Design, type of bench, location and possible relocation will be at the sole discretion of management.
Trees (small, balled and burlapped)
If a member wishes to make a donation to the planting of a tree, the cost, species, location and time of planting will be decided by the management of the club, in consultation with the member. The tree will be guaranteed for one replacement or 2 years. A plaque will be placed at the base of the tree for a period of 2 years and then removed. If it becomes necessary to remove the tree at the sole discretion of management, a suitable alternative may be provided by the club in consultation with the member.
Trees (large spaded)
If a member wishes to make a donation to the planting of a large tree, the cost, species and location will be decided by the Management of the club, in consultation with the member. The tree will be guaranteed as per the contract with the supplier. A plaque will be placed on the tree and will be maintained for a period of 10 years after which it may be removed at Management’s discretion. If it becomes necessary to remove the tree at the sole discretion of management, a suitable alternative may be provided by the club in consultation with the member.
Gardens
If a member wishes to make a donations towards the cost of a garden or landscaped area on club property the member will pick from a location selected by the club management. The design of the area will be by the management of the club, in consultation with the member, and may be altered at any time. A plaque will be placed in the area and will be maintained for a period of 10 years after which it may be removed at management’s discretion. If it becomes necessary to remove the garden, a suitable alternative may be provided by the Club in consultation with the member.
