3.17 Promotional Photography

Whitevale Golf Club takes photographs and videos during golf and social events and occasions at the Club and uses them for marketing and promotional purposes.  Images of members and guests are often included in these media. These photographs and videos may be shown on social media, posted on the Whitevale website, or included in other marketing or promotional materials.

Although reasonable efforts will be made to secure members’ and guests’ consent before including them in photographs or videos, by participating in golf or social events and occasions at WGC, members and guests are considered to have given their consent that their images may be used in any promotional format, including external sites such as various social media platforms and the Club’s public website.

If, however, a member does not wish their image to appear in photographs or videos, they may “opt out” by emailing the GM, and advising accordingly.  The GM will maintain a list of such members and best efforts will be used to comply with the member’s direction.
