Posting a Score
It is each member's responsibility to post their scores in the Golf Canada Score Centre for each round of golf that they play.
The Golf Canada Score Centre is accessed from the touch screen in the Pro Shop or from the Member Home page on the Whitevale website. One golfer in a group can post all of the scores for that group without knowing the Access IDs for the other players. Simply go to the touch screen with the other players' names or Access IDs, and add their hole-by-hole scores. The system prompts will lead you through the posting process.
Tournament or event scores are posted on your behalf by the Pro Shop staff. Please be sure that the score card you turn in contains the accurate hole-by-hole score, and if you like, check a day or two after the event to ensure that your correct score was entered. You can always check your last 20 scores and your current handicap in the Golf Canada Score Centre.
A new rule in effect January 1st, 2016 from Golf Canada is under Section 5-1: Unacceptable Scores - If the player plays alone then he or she must indicate that by checking a small box when posting. Scores posted when playing alone will be excluded from the calculation of an Official Handicap.
See Handicaps for more information on the handicap process.
