Whitevale Accounts
Whitevale is your own private club. It is operated using sound business practices to ensure the best quality of service and facilities to you. As a business, it is very important that you respect the credit and payment policies of your club.
- Each member is assigned an account number (format A-001). This number must be included on all purchases and on all cheque payments to ensure that charges and payments are applied to the proper account.
- Statements are run monthly. Accounts are processed and invoices are emailed before the 8th of the next month. Payments are due by month end of the month emailed. A 2% interest charge will be applied to your account balance monthly if you are late paying. Any NSF cheques will result in a charge of $29.00. If a member's account is not settled two months following the month incurred (April charges at June 30th), the members signing and playing privileges will be revoked.
- To facilitate monthly payment of your account, you may pay your balance by credit card (Visa and MasterCard). To pay your account by credit card, you need to provide your account number and authorization to the office. Charges will be applied to your credit card starting around the 10th of the month following the statement date. A 3% convenience fee will be charged when using a credit card for monthly statements. You may also pay your account through online banking through the five major banks (RBC, TD, BMO, CIBC and Scotia). Payment through Tangerine, Manulife and Meridian will not be accepted.
- Annual membership renewals are mailed at the end of December and are due by Jan 31st of the new year. Members can pay in one sum or four interest-free monthly instalment due on or before Jan 31, Feb 28, March 31 and April 30. A late fee of $50 will be charged if any instalment is paid after its due date.
- A monthly minimum charge (food/bar/social) is applied to the accounts of all A, B, C, and Social members. The monthly minimum is based on a six-month period, split in two three-month cycles (May/June/July and August/September/October). Any unused minimum from the first cycle cannot be carried forward, nor can any overage from the first cycle be applied to the second cycle. Monthly minimum charges are as follows:
- A, B & C category $150 per month per person
Unused minimums appear on your monthly statements.
